Protherm models differ in performance. Low-power - Skat 6K and 9K boiler, more powerful Skat 12K, 14K and 18K, 21K, 24K and 28K.

Single-circuit systems are used to heat water in the heating circuit. For hot water installation of a boiler is required. When using it, the boiler is switched from heating mode to water heating mode.

The display indicates the temperature of the hot water and the coolant, a lit light indicates the operating mode, a red indicator warns of equipment malfunction.

Installation and start-up of the boiler

6 and 9 kW boilers can be connected to a single-phase network

The equipment is hung on the wall with screws. Connect the pipes to the heating pipe. With additional installation of the boiler, a three-way valve is installed in the place of its attachment. They are connected to an electric network of 380 V. A circuit breaker is installed at the input, interrupting the supply of current. A separate power cable is laid for power. All connection points are earthed.

The electric boiler Protherm Skat 9 kW and 6 kW can be connected to a single-phase network using the connecting bridge included in the equipment set. With its help, the phases of the wires on the terminal block are connected. To start the unit, open the water supply tap, bring the system pressure to 2 atm, the temperature will appear on the display and the lamp will light up.

Malfunctions of boilers and methods for their elimination

Self-diagnosis system detects errors and displays them on the monitor

Proterm boilers are equipped with automatic equipment that responds to faults. Data on this is displayed, each error has its own code. Decoding:

  • F00, F10, F13, F19 - malfunction of the temperature sensor;
  • F20 - the emergency temperature sensor or thermal fuse does not work;
  • F22 - air in the system or low water pressure;
  • F41 and F55 - jamming of the relay or contactor;
  • F63 - no communication with EEPROM;
  • F73 and F74 - malfunction of the water sensor;
  • F73 and F74 - freezing of water in a boiler or boiler.

In case of failure of the sensors and pointers, it is necessary to replace or check their connection to the cable line.

If the error on the dry start of the boiler appears on the display, regulate the water supply by opening the valve, increase the pressure in the system. With the formation of air in the pipes, drain the water from them until air escapes.

If the sensor contacts stick, it can be eliminated by turning the button on / off alternately. If the error is not deleted, it is possible that data about it was saved in the system memory. You need to reset to factory settings.

In case of serious boiler problems, call for service to resolve them.

Emergency shutdown is performed at 95 0С. To provide hot water, an additional boiler connection is required.

Slope 9K

Electric boiler Proterm Skat 9 single-circuit heating, power 9 kW, current consumption 14 A. The temperature of the coolant is changed from 25 to 85 0C, emergency shutdown at 95 0C. The heating temperature is controlled by the number of included heating elements. It is possible to obtain hot water by incorporating into the boiler system.

Protherm 12K

Even for the most powerful electric boilers, you do not need to allocate a separate room

An electric boiler with a capacity of 12 kW, uses a current of 18.5 A. for operation, differs from the previous ones in the number of heating elements, it can heat a room up to 120 m2. Powered by a network with a characteristic of 380 V / 50 Hz. It has all the qualities of the Proterm equipment line.

Slope 14K and 18K

Single-circuit heating units, power supply from the network 380 V / 50 Hz, power 14 and 16 kW, respectively, current consumption 23-27 A. They can heat a room of 250 m2. The presence of automatic control simplifies its operation. Emergency shutdown occurs when water is heated to 95 0С, the temperature of the coolant is regulated 25 - 85 0С.
