Hoses must be purchased special, reinforced, which retain their diameter when bent, do not have ribbing and protrusions inside. Lay them together with the pipeline, hide in a box. To the outdoor unit, drainage tubes for the air conditioner are routed through an opening in the wall.

Before cleaning the drainage in the air conditioner, it is necessary to understand the causes of its clogging, which may be:
- Illiterate installation of air conditioning drainage;
- The appearance of ice jams;
- Dust plugging.

- Without dismantling the internal module, slowly supply water to the evaporator;
- Dismantling some parts of the module and disconnecting the tubes. The tube is blown, the evaporator is washed with clean water or a special solution;
- Total disassembly of the internal module: pipes are blown, all parts of the drainage system are flushed.
If the owner can carry out the simplest cleaning, then only the craftsmen from the service center can clean the drain pump to the air conditioner and blow the pipes with the compressor.
