Positive reviews about this series say that installing the system with your own hands is real in one day. A reasonable cost of the drainage complex is also noted. Among the shortcomings, the owners of the cottages revealed: after several seasons in the region with frequent temperature differences, the pipe walls became thinner.

The Elite series is intended for cottages whose roofs have a large area. For a small house, it is also suitable, especially in regions famous for showers and snowfalls. Gutters have increased throughput due to the large groove section (125 mm) and the overall pipe with a diameter of 95 mm. Additionally, the elements are equipped with stiffeners, reinforcing the strength of the structure. High tightness is created by specially designed rubber seals. Mounting Features

Before the construction of the drain, it is necessary to assemble a set of tools. It will include:

  • measuring instruments (ruler, tape measure, building cord),
  • hacksaw,
  • screwdriver
  • electric drill with universal crown,
  • hammer.

If the gutter complex is intended for a country house, the elements can be assembled horizontally, directly on the ground. Then, the structures are carefully inserted into the brackets pre-mounted around the perimeter of the house.

For larger buildings, assembly is carried out directly at the building. It includes the following steps:

  1. Fixing the gutters made of metal or plastic on the windshield from two sides of each wall. This leaves a gap of a couple of centimeters between the plane of the board and the vertical part of the fixture. At the corners of the roof, the holders are installed at a distance of 15 cm from the corner part.
  2. Align the brackets with a building cord stretched between the end holders. Intermediate mounting devices are mounted in increments of 60 cm. The drainage slope is taken into account - about 3 mm for each meter of the gutter.
  3. Installation of grooves on the brackets with fixation using a latch.
  4. Fastening the drain funnel to a solid gutter without joints. It is fixed with a latch, having previously sealed the joints with rubber seals. Additional holders must be placed in the place of attachment of this part so that the gutter and funnel are not blown away by the pressure of the water flow. This is the most vulnerable part of the system. The funnel opening is closed with a metal protective grill.
  5. Connection of gutter sections with couplings. The connector is installed so that the parts snap into place. To do this, the edge of the clutch lead over the rear groove wall, then pull the front part. In the corners of the building, docking is carried out using connecting corners. When articulating, a characteristic click should also be heard.
  6. Installation of plugs on grooved ends. It is fixed using special antennae.
  7. Install the pipe bend to the drain hole. It is mounted at an angle of 67 or 45 degrees, depending on the design of the part and the configuration of the roof.
  8. The connection of the knee with the drain pipe and its fixation to the wall of the building. To do this, use polymer clamps.

The pipe should end no lower than 30 cm above the ground. At its end, a drain is fixed. If the standard pipes are long, they are cut with a hacksaw. In the opposite situation, a special sleeve is used for elongation to connect the pipe segments. It is not required to attach the joint to the wall with the clamps or to seal the joints with silicone, the coupling already has sealing elements and clamps.
