The main elements of the bulb or cartridge vertical type can be changed. Cartridges can be replaced in the Nortex Standard water treatment system with their own hands. For this, a special ring wrench is included in the package.
The life of each cartridge depends on the intensity of use of the device, as well as the degree of contamination of tap water. The product passport indicates the recommended operating life of the filter elements. The complex also includes a drain tap, which is installed on a kitchen sink. The crane is mounted and secured with a union nut and several rubber gaskets. The latter ensure the tightness of the connection.

The company "Nortex" offers four models that differ from each other in configuration, degree of water purification and performance. But all of them are built-in systems, that is, they are often installed inside the kitchen sink cabinets and connected to the water supply system with flexible hoses.

The price of Nortex Standard water treatment plants and others depends on the region, because the distribution of the device is carried out by dealers, each of which put a mark-up, thereby making a profit. On average, the Standard model is in the range of 10,000 rubles, Osmo Modern 23,000-25,000 rubles.
Terms of Service
The passport of each model indicates how long it is necessary to change the cartridges. For the Standard model, this period is 1 month. But here, as already mentioned, it all depends on the intensity of operation of the device and the degree of contamination of tap water. Do not forget about the correct connection.
In the Osmo model, the reverse osmosis filter element is not serviced. It is connected in parallel with nozzles extending from three cartridge filters on one side, with a drain valve on the other and on the third side with sewage. The membrane is automatically rinsed with water from a water pipe, but contamination merges into the sewer. You can organize the drain in a container that is placed near the filter complex. Not the most convenient option, because the water level in the tank will have to be monitored all the time.
The life of the mineralizer is long. In the product passport there is a period during which it is not necessary to update the backfill. But if such a need arose, granules of minerals would need to be bought, the tank opened and a replacement made. In fact, this is not an easy operation, therefore it is recommended to consult a specialist.
Information and company reviews
There are many reviews of filters from Nortex. Someone is pleased with the acquisition, someone is not very. Some bloggers investigated and found out:
- The company’s website is not made in the best way. This already indicates that the manufacturer attaches little importance to the information block. Leading brands, on the contrary, devote a lot of money, time and effort to this.
- Information on the Nortex website is false. This is especially true for the address. In fact, it houses a hotel.
- The telephone indicated on the site is silent all the time.
- Filters themselves are not sold in stores. They are distributed by dealers who charge prices at their discretion. Therefore, in one city, Nortex Standard costs 3,500, in another 10,000 rubles.
- There are no technical specifications on the site. It is not clear which filter is used for what.
- The company itself is positioning itself as international. But filters are distributed only in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. They do not let the products go further, and there is no reason, because it diverges well in these countries. Price allows you to do this.
Bloggers concluded: the filters from the Nortex company are nothing more than Chinese products, in addition to poor quality, and therefore are inexpensive. Hence the negative consumer reviews.
However, the device itself is made with a view of conscience. Visual examination showed no defects. At the same time, he conducts cleaning, which is also proved by tests. Cleans the appliance for a short time. It quickly clogs, hence the decrease in pressure in the water supply network and the purity of the water itself. Replacing cartridges changes the situation, but not for long.
In filters Nortex Standard are suitable cartridges from filters of other brands. This is a plus, because it is possible to extend the period of water purification. Cartridges of famous brands are made of high quality materials, they have high density and wear resistance. Therefore, the advice is - if the Nortex Standard filter is used to clean tap water, use cartridges from well-known brands when replacing the filter element.
