Thermal insulation pipe Energoflex does not cause special difficulties in installation. Installation Algorithm:

  1. The surface of the pipe is pre-cleaned and degreased.
  2. Carefully lay the heat insulator, there should be no exposed pipe sections.
  3. First you need to isolate the elements of the fittings and curved sections, then straight lines of the pipeline.
  4. A special adhesive base is used to connect the parts.
  5. The pipeline should dry well during the day, after which the system can be started.

If all work has been carried out in accordance with the instructions, the material will last a long time, preventing heat loss and protecting the pipeline from the harmful effects of corrosion.

Tools and fixtures

Before starting construction work, you need to prepare all the necessary working tools. To carry out the work you will need:

  • pencil or pen;
  • special miter box for cutting corner wedges and mounting angle of rotation;
  • smooth spatula;
  • a knife with a long blade (about 300 mm) for cutting pipes with a large cross-section and rolled material;
  • short knife for cutting small diameter pipes (about 70 mm);
  • roulette;
  • construction line;
  • brush for applying special glue to the surface;

Often forget about annular punches, which are used for making holes in the insulating sheet.

Before applying the adhesive mass, mix it thoroughly. The best option is to use the substance in a tank with a capacity of about 0.5 liters. Glue is applied with a thin even layer on both glued surfaces. These areas join 5-7 minutes after applying the adhesive mass. If the adhesive has dried during this time, it is applied again.

Work can be carried out at an ambient temperature of at least +17 degrees Celsius, the most optimal +20 degrees. If the adhesive mass has thickened, you can dilute it with a solvent from the manufacturer Eneroflex.
