In addition, properly organized garage heating by mining should include the removal of carbon monoxide. To do this, you need to make a chimney, the minimum height of which should be 4 m. Otherwise, condensate will accumulate on the inner surface of the pipe and the draft index will decrease.
Before purchasing used oil, you need to find out its main indicators. Hardening - not lower than -19 ° С; flash point - in the region of + 55 ° С; sulfur content - not more than 1.2; the density is about 0.82.

The best option is to purchase a ready-made boiler. However, the average cost of 30 kW of the model is currently over 160 thousand rubles. Therefore, heating is often done using oil burners and the casing of an old solid fuel boiler.
Workout heating circuit

As a filter, you can use ordinary oil. First you need to calculate its optimal throughput, based on the characteristics of the burner.
Boiler or burner for working out heating
When choosing a burner, you need to build on its performance. Like any boiler for working-out heating, it is characterized by power, overall dimensions and additional control components.
Most models should be supplied with compressed air. It is necessary for the formation of a combustible mixture. To do this, in fact, for heating a private house at home, you can use a compressor. An alternative is to purchase a burner model with an already built-in air supercharger - a turbine. Despite the relatively high cost, it is possible to optimize the place for installation of equipment necessary for heating the garage for self-work.
Also consider the main characteristics of the burner:
- Oil consumption. On average, 0.09 kg of oil will be required per 1 kW of thermal power;
- Electricity consumption - from 0.5 to 1 kW;
- Maintainability. The ability to replace components and assemblies after their failure.
Important when heating the garage working off is the cost of the burner. The price of models from well-known brands can reach several hundred thousand rubles. But, despite this, high cost in most cases is a guarantee of quality.
