In order for the foam to freeze completely, you need to wait 1.5-2 days. It is possible to reuse the substance with proper storage. To do this, it should not be in contact with air. Adhesive properties are maintained for 2-3 months.

- Tytan Styro 753. One-component adhesive designed exclusively for use with expanded polystyrene boards. It is based on polyurethane foam. With this substance, a high laying speed of the insulator is achieved. Grinding of the material is carried out already 2.5 hours after the use of glue.
- Ceresit CT38. Its main feature is quick solidification. The composition contains mineral components. The finished mass is used for 2 hours, after which it loses its properties.
It is important to carefully study the instructions on the package, as it indicates on what grounds it is better to apply the composition, how long it should dry. During work, it is better to use protective clothing and gloves.

Expanded polystyrene foam can be used to fix the insulator indoors. For this, the substance must have environmental safety, not emit harmful components into the atmosphere, and not cause allergic reactions. For this purpose, it is allowed to use gypsum-based compounds. They can be purchased in the form of powder, packaged in bags of 30 kg or dry glue-foam.
The presented compositions allow you to work with any basis: brick, concrete, plastered. However, surface alignment is not necessary. When applying the substance to the foam blocks, they are pre-treated with concrete contact to improve adhesion. Only after that is glue allowed to extrude. - it is better to give preference to branded construction stores that are ready to present quality certificates for products at the request of the buyer;
- if the cost of the composition is too small compared to other means, its quality is doubtful;
- you should pay attention to the shelf life of the product: if it is released, the technical characteristics deteriorate;
- the packaging must have a mark on environmental cleanliness.
