  • "Crying." Condensation drips from the indoor unit. This means that the drainage system is clogged with debris, mold or ice. Clean drainage. And if an ice plug formed in the winter, you will have to expect warm weather;
  • The filters on the indoor unit are clogged. The air conditioner works, but the effect is not noticeable. This may indicate a clogged filter. Filters become clogged with dust, pet hair, and even particles of poor-quality flooring. Filters must be cleaned immediately. The cover of the front panel of the indoor unit gently rises, the filters are pulled out and washed under running water. After drying, they are inserted back.

More complex failures will have to be fixed with the help of specialists. Often the cause of poor performance is not the mechanical part, but the electronic part. To diagnose such a malfunction is realistic only with the help of special equipment. It is completely impossible to repair the air conditioning compressor with your own hands. Indeed, in most cases, a faulty compressor will have to be replaced with a new one.
