To display error codes for Polaris air conditioners, diodes are used located on the front side of the indoor unit. If the self-test detects a malfunction, the diodes blink or glow at a predetermined frequency corresponding to a specific error. If several faults are detected at the same time, the most serious code is displayed first.

  • Make sure that current flows through the wires.
  • Make sure the “Drain condensate” light is on.
  • Check the room temperature.

  • Protect the air conditioner from bright sunlight.
  • Close all doors and windows.
  • Make sure that the room is not heated with radiators or fan heaters.
The air conditioner works, but does not warm / cool at all
  • Make sure the filters are clean.
  • Check that the air duct is clean.
  • Check the room temperature.
Air conditioning makes too much noise
  • Is the air conditioner skewed?
  • The base should be flat and horizontal. There should be no shaking of equipment during operation.
Compressor stands The compressor overheat relay has probably tripped. Leave the air conditioner turned off for a while, then try turning it on again. Prior to repair, the device can be used as a fan.

If the above recommendations did not lead to a correction of the air conditioner, the device should be de-energized and a master should be called from the service center.
