Since 2013, the rules came into force, on the basis of which each owner of an apartment or private house equipped with gas appliances must enter into a maintenance contract. This is a mandatory norm, without which the gas supply can be suspended and there is a serious danger to all residents.

  • passing by the company employees regular training.

If the quality of the services provided does not correspond to those specified in the contract, the company will be liable to consumers for all losses and harm incurred. The contractor, on the basis of clauses of the contract, must compensate all losses in full.

The gas company is obliged after each inspection to provide the customer with an act of work done, and the owner must pay a fee in a timely manner. If not all the works listed in the contract are completed, the owner may not sign the act and write a claim to the gas company.Payment may be required only after signing the act.

The cost of providing services depends on the number of gas appliances that are installed in the room. In the presence of meters and a geyser, on average, it reaches 1000 rubles.

After the specialists of the service company will inspect the equipment, check the correct functioning of the pipeline, an act is drawn up. This document contains:

  • date of inspection and location;
  • information about the owner and the company conducting the work;
  • Positions and full names of employees performing the audit;
  • assessment of the state of gas equipment installed in the room;
  • detected defects and malfunctions are listed;
  • At the end of the document, recommendations are given to the customer for further troubleshooting.

The certificate of completion is made in three copies: one of them is received by the owner of the premises, the second remains in the service gas company, the third is transferred to the Management Company. If the gas equipment is completely faulty and it is dangerous to use it, specialists draw up an act on the basis of which restrictions are imposed on the consumer to receive gas supply.

The need for maintenance of gas equipment

The conclusion of a gas service contract for equipment is not a voluntary initiative. Based on the current legislation, each owner of premises with gas appliances is required to sign such an agreement.

Thanks to the signed agreement, the gas company will monitor the state of gas devices, therefore, in the event of force majeure, all responsibility rests with it.
