Criterias of choice

At the time of purchase of the pumping station, the master must rely on the following operating parameters of the unit:

  • Power.The larger it is, the greater the number of tasks that the equipment will cope with. For example, only to supply water to the house, you can take a station at 800 watts. If additional watering of the garden / garden in the country is expected, you need to buy a stronger unit.
  • Suction depth. Take into account the remoteness of the source from the house.
  • Tank volume. For a family of 2 people, 24 liters is enough. For 3 or more residents, you need to take a station with a tank of 50 liters or more.
  • Body material. Cast iron and steel can be operated in more field conditions than polymer. Although the plastic dampens noise more from a running engine.

Whirlwind stations are understandable in operation, have a low weight, exhibit moderate noise in operation. An additional advantage is the constant availability of spare parts (repair kits) on the market if repairs are necessary. At the Whirlwind station, the manufacturer gives a year warranty.

A relative disadvantage, some masters consider Russian production. But Vikhr stations have been proving for several years that domestic products are no worse than European ones.
