Varieties and benefits of Arbonia radiators

The German-Swiss brand Arbonia is engaged in the production of heating equipment - batteries, convectors and heated towel rails. Devices are suitable for installation in apartments, private houses, country cottages and office premises. The Arbonia steel radiator is streamlined, heats up quickly and can replace obsolete cast iron modifications.

Varieties of radiators Arbonia

Arbonia tubular radiator in the form of a bench

AFG Arbonia-Forster-Holding AG produces two battery options - classic tubular and vertical.

Features of tubular models

Products in a classic design have up to 6 pipe columns and 5 depth options (65-225 mm) for installation. The devices are distinguished by the correct ratio of convection and thermal radiation, therefore they provide a comfortable temperature.

Tubular batteries are characterized by a clear shape, smoothed edges and angular parts, compatible with thermostats. The height of the devices reaches from 180 to 3000 mm. The connection is made from the side (¾ inch internal thread) and from the bottom (½ inch internal thread). The manufacturer's mark for the two-pipe version is 2057, for the three-pipe version - 3057.

The line of pipe modifications includes the following options:

  • Cambioterm. The mounting length from 270 to 2700 mm and the mounting height from 270 to 1070 mm allow you to install devices in place of old steel and cast iron radiators. The step length of one section is 45 mm. Pipes withstand pressure up to 10 bar.
  • Bench. The horizontal tubular radiator from the Arbonia brand has installation depths from 145 to 225 mm, heights from 180 to 310 mm, and lengths from 540 to 4500 mm. The number of elements in the section is from 4 to 6.
  • Electric. The WRT kit is equipped with a control unit and a heating control rod with frost protection. The WIR variation is equipped with a connection unit and an IR controller with a touch panel for programming and control.

The batteries are designed for a maximum coolant temperature of 120 degrees.

The specifics of vertical modifications

Arbonium batteries in vertical design are distinguished by welded sections. The line includes several varieties:

  • partitions with legs 140 mm and a height of the upper mount 150 mm;
  • curved with 12 sections, 6 of which are straight and located at the edges;
  • angular with a length equal to the length of the walls. Assembly is carried out by the buyer.

Curved and angled models are made to order only.

Non-standard heating devices

Leg semicircular model

The manufacturer also offers non-standard radiator options:

  • Sano for hospitals, resorts, beauty salons. The distance between the sections has been increased to 20 mm for easy care; Protect antibacterial coating is applied to the surface. Batteries have from 2 to 6 pipes with an installation depth of 65-225 mm, a height of 60-3000 mm and a length of 370-2580 mm.
  • Entreetherm with a non-linear configuration in the form of two panels directed in the opposite direction.
  • Planterm, made as a heating wall panel with a bottom connection. They can be equipped with a valve.
  • Optoterm in the form of a vertical or horizontal towel holder with an internal mirror insert.

The Planterm series only connects to two-pipe wiring.

Features of heating appliances

Tube radiators, you can choose any shape and color

Steel is used for the manufacture of heating appliances, which ensures long-term operation and reliability. The devices have 21 height options, mounted on a wall, on the floor, in the form of a bench or internal partition. Arbonium batteries can be connected to the one-pipe and two-pipe systems in the upper, side or lower way.

Products can be understaffed with a thermostat - under it there is a valve element. Pipe options are connected to the heating only from below or from the side, which is convenient in apartments. To re-equip the heater in the bench, special legs are used, there are also additional partitions and towel holders. The Sano series is easy to wet, and the increased section clearance does not affect heat transfer.

The power of heating devices is selected according to the type of premises - an apartment or a house with panoramic glasses, office or production facilities. The standard color of the batteries is white, but in the RAL-catalog you can choose the color for any interior.

Mounting brackets are not supplied with batteries.

Advantages and Cons of Arbonium Batteries

You can order non-standard type radiators, after measuring the mounting area

Compared to standard heating batteries, Arbonia brand products have several advantages:

  • made of low alloy steel, which eliminates deformation during operation;
  • sectional welded construction for extra strength;
  • lack of pockets - dirt does not accumulate between sections;
  • several types of coating of the external and internal surfaces - anti-corrosion, antibacterial, from the accumulation of static current;
  • universal - suitable for any room due to the parameters of length (18 cm - 3 m), width (6.5-22.5 cm) and the number of sections;
  • connection to the system in a convenient way - from the side, diagonally or from below;
  • minimal risk of injury - there are no sharp corners and protrusions on the products;
  • design solutions for any interior;
  • ease of wet care - dirt and dust are removed by water.

Of the minuses of the devices, users highlight the expensive cost of corner, bent modifications, before ordering which you need to carefully measure the room. The disadvantages also include minimal resistance to pressure fluctuations, risks of leakage of welds, the need for a large number of sections for normal operation of the heating system.

Installation Process

Arbonia heating radiators are installed laterally and lower left-hand or right-hand way, as well as diagonally. The installation work algorithm is implemented in stages:

  1. Marking the points where the brackets will be located.
  2. Fixing fasteners on the surface with dowels with the control of vertical and horizontal level deviations.
  3. Attaching the battery to the brackets and connecting it to the heating system.
  4. Installation of air release valves and thermostats.
  5. Removing the packaging film from the radiator.
  6. Test run of the battery.

The distance from the wall to the heater should be at least 2.5 cm.

Design line of radiators Arbonia

Models with mirrors are suitable for the bathroom, so that condensation does not accumulate

The Arbonia brand relies not only on the quality of work, but also on the design performance of products. Crealux series is suitable for apartments due to the maximum pressure of 16 atm. and maximum working temperature of 100 degrees.

The Rondotherm model has the appearance of a thin steel pipe with a mirror. The batteries can be installed in the bathroom, hallway or bedroom, which visually expands the space and makes the interior complete.

The Decolux variant is also equipped with a mirror, but elongated. It is designed for a maximum coolant temperature of 100 degrees and a pressure of 10 bar. Uno instances are single-row heating communications, and Duo are two-row.

The compact modification of Arbotherm is characterized by high thermal conductivity, a maximum coolant temperature of 120 degrees. The difference between the batteries - a lot of color options.

Zehnder Nova batteries are manufactured in vertical and horizontal versions, equipped with special convective slats. The parameters of the maximum temperature regime of the coolant - 120 degrees.

Laconic Decotherm radiators are suitable for low-temperature systems or water heating. Compact and classic design allows you to mount such equipment in offices.

Coloring features

Products are available in several colors. The standard battery is white. For the sanitary series, soft pastel shades are used. From the RAL palette you can choose any colors.

Arbonia also developed the New Inspiration palette, which includes the Fresh, Warm, and Cool series. They are represented by 18 shades - muted natural or with barely noticeable pearl shimmer.

Arbonia brand heating devices are characterized by simple installation and long-term operation. Products are controlled at all stages of production, therefore they are distinguished by quality, durability of joints and reliability. An extensive number of models and colors allow you to choose batteries for any interior, and power and section parameters - for rooms for various purposes.
