Only double-circuit units in wall and floor versions come to the markets of Russia and the countries of the former USSR. To control a gas boiler, a portable remote control is used. All samples of Navien Atmo products provide protection against freezing of the coolant, their efficiency is about 86%.
Turbocharged units
The group of units of the second type (with an isolated combustion chamber) includes models of the following series:
- Prime, represented by boilers with a capacity of about 13-35 kW;

- modern Smart TOK models with an indicator of 13-35 kW.
Portions of air enter the insulated combustion chamber forcibly - they are pumped by means of a special fan installed in the coaxial pipe. Thanks to this, units with a Coaxial type design have higher efficiency, sometimes reaching a record figure of 93%. Gas boilers from the Navien Deluxe series are able to withstand significant changes in supply voltage, as they are equipped with an integrated stabilizing device. In addition, they have the option of automatically maintaining the temperature of the medium at a level not lower than the “cooling point” (6–9 degrees).
Condensing boilers
The third type of Navien gas boilers is represented by equipment samples from the NCN and NCB series. Due to the additional heating of the carrier by condensate heat, their efficiency was raised to 99%. The functionality of these units is even higher than that of turbocharged boilers - the controller built into them allows you to set the temperature parameters for a week in advance.
The Navien NCN product range includes four varieties ranging from 22 to 40 kW, while the NCB includes the same number of products with 24–40 kW. The water in them is heated to 65 ° C, and the coolant circulating through the pipes is heated to 90 ° C. These units are capable of withstanding media pressure up to 10 bar.

Operation of gas boilers Navien
The place for installation and continuous operation of the gas boiler is selected taking into account the following points:
- the unit hung on the wall should be removed from other household appliances at a distance of at least 60 cm;
- the room with the placed device is equipped with an effective ventilation system;
- The power supply socket is located no closer than 30 cm from the boiler body.
To connect it at the installation site, a separate power supply line will be required. Since the power consumed by it (and therefore the current in the circuit) reaches a significant value, it is forbidden to turn on the device through a conventional adapter or using extension cords. According to the PUE, the branch for the unit must meet the following requirements:

Test on and off
To start the boiler yourself, a number of preparatory operations will be required:
- fill the system with water carrier;
- remove air residues from it;
- check the pressure inside the working circuit.

- 06E - temperature sensor breakdown code (DT), indicating the presence of a short circuit in its circuit;
- 07E - an error that occurs when a malfunction of the DT line in the DHW circuit;
- 08E - problems with the same sensor, but occurring during short circuit in its circuit.
An error under 09E indicates a malfunctioning fan that needs to be inspected and replaced. Error 10E indicates problems with smoke removal, and 12E indicates that the flame in the burner has gone out.
