Refueling split systems
Filling domestic air conditioners with freon is one of the most popular services of service centers.
When refueling is required:
- after compressor repair;
- after replacing the 4-way valve;
- after repair of the filling port;
- after repair of the condenser or evaporator;
- after replacing part of the cold track.
If the air conditioner operates on multi-component freon, it will not work to refuel.
The components of this freon have various physical qualities and volatilize unevenly. It is necessary to carry out a complete drain and fill in new refrigerant.
Filling of household air conditioners with freon is carried out by the following methods:

If the split air conditioner is charged at the place of its installation, then window and mobile air conditioners are charged with refrigerant only in service centers.
