There are several varieties of systems that use different installations. One of them is the central frame air conditioning panel type.

The stitched structure is assembled on a metal frame (frame) by combining several modules, each of which carries its own functions. It is possible to equip equipment according to customer requirements by installing one or another modular unit. In this case, the installation can be assembled in one or two tiers.

Sections

Depending on how the air-conditioning unit will work - for cooling or additionally for heating the supplied air, two configuration options are considered:

  • without installing a heating module;
  • with heating module.

The heating section is represented by three models: water, steam or electric. In the first two cases, a heat exchanger is installed in the module, through the tubes of which hot water or steam moves. In the latter case, these are ordinary electric heating elements.

General equipment in sections:

  1. Entrance. Flaps are installed in the design, with the help of which the volume of air supply is regulated.
  2. Filtration, trapping dust, insects and other particles that fly into the air duct with the air. Usually two types of filters are installed: coarse cleaning (clean up to 60%) and fine cleaning (delay up to 90% dirt). All filters are made to fit the module in the form of frames.They are inserted and removed from the section without disassembling the air conditioner.
  3. Cooling section. Two different heat exchangers are used, depending on the type of refrigerant used in the system. If it is cold water, a steel tubular heat exchanger is installed. If freon or other refrigerant of this type, a tubular copper heat exchanger is used, to which a special collector is added. All types of heat exchangers are equipped with aluminum fins (plates), which increase the heat transfer area. All cooling sections of the air conditioners of the central frame-panel are equipped with condensate collectors and drip collectors.
  4. Fan A fan has been installed, the main functions of which are to take air from the street and supply it to the refrigerated rooms. The module can be installed between any sections or directly at the outlet when connecting the air conditioner to the internal air ducts.
  5. Sound absorption section. The purpose is to reduce the sounds emanating from the fan. Inserts are inserted inside, which are made of several layers of folded mineral wool or fiberglass. The latter is selected taking into account the density.

The air heating section can be installed before or after the cooling module.

Heat Recovery Section

Recent research in the field of energy saving has made it possible to use additional recovery sections in the air conditioners of the central heating and cooling plant. They pre-heat the air, which is then heated to the required temperature. In this case, heating occurs due to the temperature of the air flow output from the ventilation. There are three types of equipment used: plate, rotary and recuperators with an intermediate heat exchanger.

Another block that is used in the design of air conditioners of the KTsKP brand is the module for humidification or drainage of air masses. With it, you can control the humidity in the rooms. Control can be carried out in each room separately or in all at once.

Frame-panel equipment is equipped with automation, which is responsible for the correct operation of all modules. With its help, the set parameters for the operation of the air conditioning system are monitored, as well as protection against emergency situations.

Automation is based on temperature sensors that monitor indoor temperature. It is they who give signals to fans that turn off or reduce the speed of rotation of the impeller. In this way, the temperature regime is regulated, or the coolant / refrigerant supply valves are closed.

All automation is combined by a central unit that reads information from controllers (sensors).

There are no serious requirements for operating conditions. It is necessary to clean or change the filters in time, check the heat exchangers for free space between the ribs, as they are sometimes clogged with dust. It is necessary to check the operation of fans, air conditioning compressor and other devices.
