Daiko is a well-known Japanese fishing gear company. Daikin is a famous Japanese brand of HVAC equipment. What do these two companies have to do with Daiko climate technology? Appliances for sale are consonant with these Japanese brands, which have an equally small relation to Japan. But you can often find: Daiko air conditioning - Japanese tradition of quality. Or salespersons' fantastical fantasies: We don’t know exactly what the Japanese fishing tackle manufacturer has to do with the production of climate equipment ... We know for sure - nothing.
So, Daiko is a trademark registered in Ukraine. No official sources by its origin or structure can be found. There is no official address, no office, the site of the “brand” only refers to the contact line phone. There is not even a general distributor through whom external contact is usually carried out in such cases.
Those. This is a standard business cycle. The trademark is registered, orders are placed, mainly at Chinese factories, and then Chinese consumer goods are sold under a new “brand”, in this case with a specific consonant Japanese name.

The location of production facilities is also unknown. Most likely, there is no own production at all. Perhaps some of the products are produced in local Ukrainian industries. Because the complexity of welding boilers and heat storage tanks is much lower than the production of rocket and aerodynamic equipment at the freed capacities of many such plants.
The main market for Daiko products is also the territory of Ukraine. In other countries, products of this brand are poorly represented or not represented at all. Nevertheless, in the CIS countries, especially in Russia, such products can be found.

The entire product line of air conditioners is represented by several series of split systems. And all these products are developed and manufactured in Chinese factories. In essence, the models are processed Chinese products. The main components and parts are installed standard and interchangeable with many other similar products manufactured in the same factories.
It occupies the lowest price niche with appropriate quality and seller guarantees. A distinctive feature is the increased warranty. The company gives a guarantee for products up to 5 years: 2 years for replacement and 3 more for free repair. At least that’s how it is presented in advertising.

Represented by two models of floor-ceiling split systems. Designed for cooling rooms with an area of 100 - 150 sq.m. Additional characteristics cannot be detected. It is likely that they have already been removed and are no longer available.

The following series are presented on the market:
- Daiko Premium. In the abbreviation is indicated by the symbols PR. The most budget series, nothing more. Start-stop compressor control. Simple design. Of the extensions - an ionizer and a carbon filter;
- Daiko Premium +. The abbreviation is also indicated by the symbols PR. By name of the series do not differ. Improved version of the previous model. Slightly less angular design. A liquid crystal display is installed on the unit under the outer cover. Improved filters. Sound pressure reduced;
- Daiko Lux +. The abbreviation is denoted by the symbols CN.Starting with the luxury series, it makes sense to consider Daiko air conditioning for purchase. The difference in price is insignificant, but the series is most completed in design, in characteristics, in reliability. Classic compressor control method - start-stop. Although there are no special additional features. All the same, the simplest device that works mainly in two modes - cooling / heating;
- Daiko Inverter. The main difference from the previous series is the inverter control of the compressor. Naturally, the model is more economical. It also differs in appearance, but the design of the last three series is made in the same form. The cost of the series is already significantly higher.
