Schemes of the construction of country toilets and their construction

A summer residence is a place for people to relax from the bustle of the city, and the territory where they are engaged in gardening or gardening. But not always on such a plot there is a large house with all amenities.

A summer house is wonderful. Someone is happy to plant flowers, someone grows vegetables and fruits sparingly, but for someone this is a great opportunity to relax from the bustle of the city, to breathe fresh air. You can go to the forest or swim in the river. In the evening, treat yourself to a delicious kebab. But nature is nature, and you should not forget about comfort. Not everyone is ready to run into the bushes if necessary or refresh themselves in the nearest river. And it doesn’t matter if there is no sewage system. Everything you need can be done by yourself, well, or with assistants.

You need to think about the presence of the premises so much needed in the economy when designing and building a summer house. Well, if the cottage is already standing or was bought by you, then before the start of the garden season you need to take care of its presence.

If we talk about the construction of a country toilet, then we need to decide what material it will be built from and, in fact, which will have a design. If you calculate everything correctly and correctly draw up a work plan, you can significantly save on building materials.

Types of Street Toilets

Consider what types of street toilets exist:

  • The toilet house suggests a cesspool.
  • Powder - closet - this is the same house, but without a cesspool.
  • The dry closet is the simplest and does not require special hassle during installation design.

Now consider their design and differences.

Toilet with cesspool

From the name itself it is clear that in this design there is a cesspool. It is strengthened with rings of concrete, laid out with a brick or a plastic container is placed in a pit. It should be noted that the liquid gradually leaves the usual cesspool, and the sealed container will fill up much faster. To clean it, you will have to remove the sewage more often, using the pump yourself or call the sewer machine. A house is being built directly above the pit. It can be built from improvised materials. A pedestal with a toilet seat is installed in the house. To avoid unpleasant odors, a ventilation pipe is installed.

Powder-closet

This is a house, but without a cesspool. A house is also being built, but the cesspool is not dug up, and instead of it, a waste container is placed directly under the toilet seat. But in order not to clean the container too often, it is doubled. Several holes are made in a smaller container. Then it is placed in a larger container. In the larger tank, in turn, make a hole and insert a hose for drainage. Thus, excess fluid enters the soil. Near the toilet seat there should be a container with sawdust, dry smelts or peat - any filler. It (filler), of course, will restrain an unpleasant odor, but in toilets of this design it is also recommended to install a ventilation pipe. After each use of the toilet, the waste is dusted with sawdust or other filler. As soon as the container is full, it is carried out and cleaned.

When designing a toilet of this design, you need to remember about the ability to get the storage capacity. There are two options for how to do this. The first is to raise the seat and remove the drive directly from under the toilet seat. And the second - in the toilet scheme, a door is designed through which the container is removed.

Dry closet

For those who do not like to deal with all these containers and their cleaning, and are reluctant to dig a hole, and then build a house over it, there is a great alternative - a dry closet. You only need to choose the right model, deliver and install it in the right place for you. If desired, you can install immediately with a booth.

And now a little more about the construction itself.

When you decide on the type of toilet, it's time to draw up the construction scheme itself. It includes many parameters: the size of the toilet, the width and depth of the pit (if the toilet is with a cesspool), etc.

Construction of a toilet with a cesspool

We note right away that the house should be built after the pit is dug and strengthened. So, the first one is a foundation pit for a house of square shape with a size of 4x4 m and a depth of about 30 cm. It is covered with gravel 20 cm and carefully rammed. Then the formwork for the foundation is knocked out of wooden panels. Its width is 30 cm, and its height is 50 cm. To make the foundation more durable, gravel is used. It is poured with a mixture of cement and sand. Possible defects are carefully coated with peeling boards. For the base of the floor, sand is used, which is carefully compacted. You can lay foam on the sand to insulate the room. Then again crushed stone is poured with a solution.

A timber is laid and fixed along the perimeter of the foundation (on the roofing material) using metal pins with a diameter of 1 cm. Next, a wall frame is erected (using the level) and a roof lath is made from the edged board. The crate itself should be led out of the gables by at least 30 cm. The roof is trimmed with a trim board. Frontal boards are fixed at the ends. To give the structure strength, metal corners are used. Then lay the roof. The material of the roof can be anything - slate, shingles, tin, etc.

Further, the house is sheathed with an edged board from the outside. Doors are made of the same material. Next, insert a window, and mount the platbands. All wooden elements must be treated with moisture absorbing agents.

Inside, with the help of a construction stapler, walls and ceiling are insulated with polyethylene. Drywall is attached to the crate. Stretch electrical wires for lighting. Further, plastering, anti-moisture treatment and decorative finishing. Steps are made outside.

So such an irreplaceable object as a toilet appeared at your dacha. If you wish, you can also build a shower with it under one roof. And then staying in the country will be a real pleasure for you.
